Instead, our infrared tech goes straight for the person. It&amp;rsquo;s like stepping into a patch of sunlight on a winter day. You feel the heat hit your skin instantly, and that &amp;ldquo;I&amp;rsquo;m freezing&amp;rdquo; feeling just disappears.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Dealing with the damp&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Locker rooms are brutal on electronics. Between the steam and the splashes, most heaters just give up.&#xA;To stop that from happening, we use IP65-rated housings. In plain English? They&amp;rsquo;re built like tanks. Dust can&amp;rsquo;t get in, and you can practically blast them with water from any angle without worrying about a short circuit. We seal every junction and use tempered glass to keep the moisture far away from the guts of the machine.&#xA;Inside, we use quartz glass tubes. We chose quartz because it can handle the shock of going from cold to scorching hot without cracking. We also add heavy-duty gaskets, which is important because the metal chassis expands and shrinks as it heats up. If the seal isn&amp;rsquo;t flexible, it leaks. Ours don&amp;rsquo;t.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The tricky part: Placement&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;These things put out a lot of heat in a very small space, which means where you put them matters a lot.&#xA;If you mount them too low, the user is going to feel like they&amp;rsquo;re standing too close to a campfire. Too high, and you lose that &amp;ldquo;instant&amp;rdquo; warmth that makes the system work. It&amp;rsquo;s all about finding the sweet spot between the wattage and your ceiling height so nobody ends up in a hotspot.&#xA;One last tip: keep an eye on the gaskets. Over a few years, the harsh chemicals in industrial cleaning products can eat away at the seals. A quick check during your yearly maintenance is all it takes to make sure everything stays watertight.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
