A Quick Reality Check on Power
Now, here is where you have to be careful. These heaters pull a lot of juice. If you try to cram too many of them onto one smart hub, you’re going to trip your breakers—or worse, melt some thin wiring. You’ve got to make sure your cables are beefy enough for the load and that your relay can actually handle the power the heating element demands. One last thing: while the heater itself is built to be watertight and live in the rain, your control box isn’t. Keep the smart electronics in a separate, dry spot so you don’t fry your brain-center.
